Hitachi Power Europe undertakes to protect the private sphere and right of individuality of all persons who through the Internet communicate with us. We confidentially treat personal data sent to us via the Internet based, as it is, on the prevailing statutory conditions.

What information do we collect and why?
For statistical purposes we save the name of the requested Internet page, date, time of page callup and the data quantity transmitted. We also note the success or otherwise of the information transmitted and the provider responsible for access.

E-mail addresses
We communicate with you via e-mail should you have given us your e-mail address. But we will not pass it on to third parties outside the Hitachi Power Europe GmbH. Personal data we have received as part of your e-mail program will be handled confidentially. The information transmitted within the information interchange is not encoded.

User registration

The information filled in on a registration form on our web site is used to send you the requested product information, news etc. Your personal data is solely used for these purposes and is not passed on to third parties outside the Hitachi Power Europe GmbH. The data you send us online is not encoded. For instance, if you no longer require the Newsletter, you can have your name deleted from the registration database at any time.
