Looking back on more than 125 years of experience, Hitachi Power Europe supplies utility steam generators for the power and heat industry in a wide range of capacities and for all requirements. Our experience has been based on more than 370,000 MWel of installed power plant capacity including 145,000 MWel with oil and gas, 180,000 MWel with bituminous firing and 43,000 MWel with lignite firing since 1970.

The application fields of our customers are as varied as our solutions which we develop for the specific power engineering problems. The basic requirements are always highest economic efficiency at maximum operation reliability and progressive pollution control.

Our concentrated know-how and optimized engineering processes meet this demand. We transfer the results of our energetic research and development into economically interesting and ecologically progressive solutions.

Firing system and pressure part design are harmonized individually by the application of the most modern analysis methods, including three dimensional flow simulation and virtual reality planning.

Hitachi Power Europe has acquired extensive experience in planning, designing, manufacturing, erecting and commissioning  various boiler types. We meet the individual specifications of our customers and the technical requirements of the overall unit concept by using steam generators of the Tower Type or Two Pass design.

We deliver steam generators with capacities up to more than 1100 MWel with pressures over 300 bar, live steam temperatures of 600°C and up to 620°C reheat temperatures for all applicable fossil fuels:
